Winter Camp

Activity:
  • Winter Camp at Camp Cherokee.
When:
  • Meet at Jess Harben, Thursday,  December 27th at 7:30AM.
  • Return Monday, December 31st, approximately 1:00 PM.
  • Review the Departure Procedure.
  • Wear Class A Shirt!
Cost:
  • Camp fees and food must be prepaid, due November 26.
    The basic camp fee is $25. Food expense TBD. Last year it was about $40.
  • $5.00 Travel fee if parents are not driving.
  • Extra $$$ for Trading Post and any special activities you signed up for.
Meals:
  • TBD
Equipment:
  • Scout Shirt
  • Scout Handbook (in ziplock bag)
  • Poncho
  • Sleeping Bag (A Pad is important in cool weather. A foam pad works well.)
  • A Coat/Jacket. This is December in Texas.
  • Basic First Aid Kit (A scout is Prepared)
  • Flashlight, Cup and Water Bottle
  • Plate & Spoon
  • Pocket Knife (a small one, no large knives) Totin Chip required.
  • Personal Gear (Soap, toothpaste etc) (A scout is clean)
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc)
