BSA Troop 1191 Sid Richardson Campout

Activity: Interesting geology,  Activities hiking, cooking, orienteering and exploring.  Other TBD
Where: Longhorn Council, Camp Sid Richardson near Bridgeport,  Texas.   Directions & map
When: Meet at Jess Harben on Friday Jan 16th at  6:30 PM.  Return Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009 approximately 1:30 - 2:30 PM  (will call in route home) Wear Class A Shirt!
Meals: By Patrol, Planned at meeting  Each Patrol is responsible for purchasing their own food.  (Usually about $10 - $15)
Cost: $5.00 Travel Fee. Not required if parent is driving. 
Spending money optional for stops going and coming.  Approximately $10.
Equipment:
  • Sleeping Bag & Pad (Pad is important to keep warm)
  • Change of Clothes
  • Jacket, Poncho
  • Compass and Small Pocket knife (Must have toten-chip)
  • Scout Handbook (In Zip-Lock Bag)
  • Insect Repellant & Basic First Aid Kit (very basic, a scout is prepared) 
  • Flashlight, Cup, Plate, spoon fork and Water Bottle
  • Personal Gear (A scout is clean)
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc)
