Dinosaur Valley Campout

Activity: Campout at Dinosaur Valley State Park.
Swimming, hiking, exploring fossils, Spirit Building, possibly TFC Orienteering.
High Adventure Preparation
When:
  • Meet at Jess Harben, Friday  April 25th at 6:15PM. Return Sunday April 27th, approximately 2:00PM. See the Departure Procedure.
  • See the Troop 1191 Campout Guidelines
  • Wear Class A Shirt!
Cost:
  • $7.00 Campground Fee
  • Approximately $10.00 for food.
  • $5.00 Travel fee. (Not required if a parent is driving.)
  • Extra $$$ for stops on the road if desired.
Meals:
  • By Patrol, planned at meeting.
Equipment:
  • Scout Shirt.
  • Scout Handbook (in ziplock bag).
  • Backpack (Optional).
  • Poncho and Jacket.
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Change of Clothes.
  • Swimsuit, Towel and other swim gear.
  • Basic First Aid Kit (A scout is Prepared).
  • Flashlight, Cup and Water Bottle.
  • Plate & Spoon.
  • Pocket Knife (a small one, no large knives). Totin Chip required.
  • Personal Gear (Soap, toothpaste etc) (A scout is clean).
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc).
