Camporee Campout

Activity: Camporee at Camp James Ray.
When:
  • Meet at Jess Harben, Friday  March 23rd at 6:15PM. Return Sunday March 25th, approximately 1:00 PM. See the Departure Procedure.
  • See the Troop 1191 Campout Guidelines
  • Wear Class A Shirt!
Cost:
  • $5.00 Travel Fee. Not required if one of your parents is attending Camporee
Meals:
  • By Patrol, planned at meeting.
Equipment:
  • Scout Shirt.
  • Scout Handbook (in ziplock bag).
  • Backpack with gear.
  • Poncho - It frequently rains during Camporee.
  • Compass
  • Sleeping Bag and pad. (A Pad is important in cold weather. A foam pad works well.)
  • Change of Clothes. May want additional set of dry clothes if it looks like rain.
  • A Jacket.
  • Basic First Aid Kit (A scout is Prepared).
  • Flashlight, Cup, and Water Bottle.
  • Plate, Spoon, & Fork.
  • Pocket Knife (a small one, no large knives).
    Totin Chip required.
  • Personal Gear (Soap, toothpaste etc) (A scout is clean).
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc).
