Bike Trek Campout

Activity: Bike Trek Campout at Mineral Wells State Park.
When:
  • Meet at Jess Harben, Friday  April 21st at 6:15PM. Return Sunday April 23rd, approximately 2:00PM. See the Departure Procedure.
  • Wear Class A Shirt!
Cost:
  • Trailway fee: $2.00 Scouts and Adults. $1.00 each for Webelos.
  • Approximately $10.00 for food. Webelos eat FREE!
  • $5.00 Transportation fee if parents are not driving. Webelos ride FREE!
  • Extra money (about $5) for Snacks on the road if desired.
Meals:
  • Sack Lunch for Saturday.
  • Other meals by Patrol, planned at meeting.
Equipment:
  • Scout Shirt and Change of Clothes.
  • Scout Handbook (in ziplock bag).
  • Backpack (Optional).
  • Sleeping Bag. Poncho.
  • Basic First Aid Kit (A scout is Prepared).
  • Bicycle and Lock
  • Helmet. REQUIRED
  • Flashlight, Cup and Water Bottle. Water Bottle is important for Bike Trek.
  • Plate & Spoon.
  • Pocket Knife (a small one, no large knives). Totin Chip required.
  • Personal Gear (Soap, toothpaste etc) (A scout is clean).
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc).
