Troop 1191 annual Military Base Camp Out for January 2008!!!
We are training at the Naval Air Station JRB, The Naval Air Station (NAS) is the headquarters
for the Tenth Air Force, the 136th Airlift Wing of the Texas Air National
Guard and the 301st Fighter Wing of the Air Force Reserve, and a number of
Marine Corps units are all co-located at NAS Fort Worth JRB. TRAINING:
We will be training with the United States Navy Sea Cadets Corps &
Navy League Cadet Corps, Forrestal Squadron & Training Ship
Ranger. Cadets are instructed
by both Sea Cadet Officers and senior cadets through classroom and applied
instruction in subjects such as basic seamanship, military drill, and
leadership. Scouts
will EXPERIENCE MEALS:
All meals on base will be served military style in a real Mess Hall. The costs of the meals and lodging is $43.00 per person which includes
5 meals (2-breakfasts, 2-lunchs, & 1-dinner). LIGHTS
OUT: We will be bunking with the
Cadets at Camp Amon Carter (YMCA) Friday & Saturday night. Make sure you bring your sleeping
bag. The cost of lodging is is included in
the $43.

advance. DEPATURE FRIDAY: We will depart from Jess Harben at SATURDAY:
We will report for muster at the front gates of the NAS JRB at DEPARTURE SUNDAY: We will depart for Jess Harben after the closing
ceremony on Sunday. Arrival
at Jess Harben between WEBOLOS
I and II's are welcome with at
