Lake Lavon  Campout

Activity: Campout at Lavonia Park Work on Readyman (First Aid) for Webrlos Woods.
When:
  • Meet at Jess Harben, Friday  Oct 16th at 6:15PM. Return Sunday Oct 18th, between 11:00AM and noon. See the Departure Procedure.

  • Wear Class A Shirt!
Where:

     Lake Lavon --Directions:  From Wylie, TX, take Highway 78 east to FM 389 (Eubanks). Go north
                      on FM 389, stay to the right at the fork in the road and continue
                      on FM 389. FM 389 will dead-end into East Fork Park.

Lake Lavon - camp sites (T13, T15) at the Lavonia Park. This park is just a few (6) miles past the East Fork park.

Cost:
  • .
  • $5.00 Travel fee. (Not required if a parent is driving.)
  • Extra $$$ for stops on the road if desired.
Meals:
  • By Patrol, planned at meeting.
Equipment:
  • Scout Shirt.
  • Scout Handbook (in ziplock bag).
  • Backpack (Optional).
  • Poncho and Jacket.
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Change of Clothes.
  • Swimsuit, Towel and other swim gear.
  • Sunscreen
  • Basic First Aid Kit (A scout is Prepared).
  • Flashlight, Cup and Water Bottle.
  • Plate & Spoon.
  • Pocket Knife (a small one, no large knives). Totin Chip required.
  • Personal Gear (Soap, toothpaste etc) (A scout is clean).
  • No electronics (games, radios, CD players etc).
